Healthcare Express - Bringing care to you
On February 22, 2025, AIHRP launched the Healthcare Express mobile clinic at Mvog-Mbetsi IDP Camp in Yaoundé, bringing essential medical care to 387 internally displaced persons fleeing violence from the Anglophone crisis and Boko Haram conflict. Our healthcare professionals provided free consultations, rapid testing for malaria and diabetes, and checked children for malnutrition and worms. We diagnosed and treated 178 malaria cases, delivered life-saving medications, and distributed 387 mosquito nets and repellents. Health talks empowered families on malaria and cough prevention.
Many displaced persons lack even basic healthcare, leaving diseases undetected and untreated. Our work made an immediate difference, but much more is needed. With more support, AIHRP can expand mobile clinics, deliver more treatments, extend health education, and build sustainable care for Cameroon’s most vulnerable.
Join us! sponsor a clinic, donate medical supplies, or partner for lasting community impact. Thank you to our team and supporters who made this mission possible.
